This page is an index of the soldiers that fought in Company C of the 4th O.V.I. As for research, it is far from a complete list at this time. To see a list of just the soldiers that have been researched, please visit the Soldier Index. This page is organized by rank and then last name. The information on this page comes from the book, The Official Roster of the Soldiers of the State of Ohio in the War of the Rebellion, 1861-1866. Notes are from the Roster, but may be paraphrased and the dates are altered into a DD MM YYYY format for consistency with the rest of the site. All soldiers enlisted for a 3 year term, so that column of information has intentionally been left out of this page.
